With the combination of all of this, the supercharger system produces a reliable 625SAE horsepower and 700Nm of Torque with surpassed smoothness and reliability of a stock car.

With the RK Autowerks Stage 2 supercharger kit the user now obtains stable charge cool temperatures with the addition of the intercooler. This is most noticeable for users in hot climates or those that road race their M5. The RK intercooler system is dyno and lab tested to show it can sustain the necessary charge temperatures, rigorous testing was done to select the perfect intercooler and package it for the M5. With the intercooler the stage 2 kit also includes carbon fiber piping to reduce heat transfer as the air is routed throughout the system. A carbon fiber manifold is also included to mitigate the high boost plenum issues many may see. This can lead to a ruined hood or permanent engine damage if not addressed, which is why we include a manifold with every stage 2 kit.

The system contains a Vortech V3si head unit at the heart of the system. This unit is self contained and does not require any external lubrication. Coupled with the 8rib billet crank pulley and spring loaded tensioner system, you are sure to not have any belts slipping under hard driving. We’ve also gone a step above the competition by producing aerospace grade carbon fiber pieces for the intake and the discharge, making the kit visually pleasing and being functional at the same time by avoiding heat soak you would get with aluminum pieces. Everything necessary for installation is supplied down to the last bolt.

With the addition of the new supercharger, recalibration of the ECU was developed as well. Reprogrammed throttle, fuel, ignition, Vanos, and EGR maps were developed to ensure you get the utmost reliability and performance from your M5. Factory failsafes were not compromised neither were OBD emission features. Allowing you to retain all of these features.
The system maintains all OBD-II functions, and it is backed by a comprehensive 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty. The system installs in 8-10 hours using normal hand tools and no irreversible modifications to the car is necessary.
